All consultations on Nursicon are for informational and educational purposes only. Expert advice is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.

1. Platform Services

Nursicon provides a platform connecting nurses and nursing professionals with expert mentors and consultants. Our services include:

  • One-on-one video consultations with verified nurse experts
  • Booking and scheduling management
  • Payment processing for consultation fees
  • Gift session functionality
  • Pro membership with unlimited 15-minute consultations

2. Payment Terms & Platform Fees

Platform Fee Structure:

  • Consultation Bookings: A platform fee of 15-20% is added to the expert's session rate. This fee covers payment processing, platform maintenance, and support services.
  • Fee Transparency: The total amount (session price + platform fee) is clearly displayed during checkout.
  • Example: For a $50 session with a 15% platform fee, the total charge is $57.50 ($50 session + $7.50 fee). The expert receives $50.

Expert Payouts:

  • Experts receive 70-80% of the session price after platform fees are deducted
  • Payouts are processed via Stripe Connect within 2-3 business days of request
  • Experts can request payouts through their dashboard
  • Minimum payout threshold may apply

Gift Sessions:

  • Gift sessions are purchased at the session rate plus platform fee
  • Gift recipients receive a unique redemption code valid for 30 days
  • Unredeemed gifts are non-refundable after 30 days

Pro Membership:

  • Monthly subscription fee: $29/month
  • Provides unlimited 15-minute consultations (subject to expert availability)
  • Can be canceled anytime with access retained until end of billing period
  • Recurring billing unless canceled

3. Refund & Guarantee Policy

Money-Back Guarantee:

We offer a satisfaction guarantee for first-time consultations. If you're not satisfied with the value of your first consultation, contact us within 48 hours for a full refund.

Refund Conditions:

  • Refunds must be requested within 48 hours of the consultation
  • A brief explanation of dissatisfaction is required
  • Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
  • Platform fees are non-refundable except in cases covered by the guarantee
  • No-shows are not eligible for refunds unless rescheduled

Cancellations & Rescheduling:

  • Free cancellation up to 24 hours before scheduled session
  • Cancellations within 24 hours incur a 50% cancellation fee
  • Rescheduling is allowed up to 24 hours before the session

4. Privacy & Security

Payment Security:

  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • We are PCI DSS compliant
  • Credit card information is never stored on our servers
  • HTTPS encryption is enforced across the platform

HIPAA Compliance:

  • Nursicon consultations are HIPAA-compliant for general nursing advice
  • No Protected Health Information (PHI) should be shared during consultations
  • Video calls are conducted through secure, encrypted platforms
  • Session recordings (if enabled) are stored securely

Data Usage:

We collect minimal data necessary for platform operations. Your personal information is never sold to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. User Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information during registration and booking
  • Maintain confidentiality of your account credentials
  • Be punctual for scheduled consultations
  • Treat experts and other users with respect
  • Use the platform for lawful purposes only
  • Do not share or distribute consultation content without consent

6. Limitation of Liability

Nursicon acts as a platform connecting users with experts. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The platform and expert consultations are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

Nursicon is not liable for:

  • Actions or advice provided by experts
  • Outcomes resulting from consultations
  • Technical issues preventing access to scheduled sessions
  • Third-party service disruptions (Zoom, Stripe, etc.)
